September 19, 2011 Grade 6 and 7

Students will continue to build foundation skills for making art. This week we will answer the essential question – how do we make shapes appear as forms? Using their knowledge of the structures and functions of the elements and principles of art students will be able to draw the cube, cone and sphere using pencil to apply tonal rendering to the forms. Thus they will make shapes appear three dimensionally as forms.
